Marc McNulty - Minumism
[tng1035]

It's our huge pleasure to present here new recordings from Irish/Icelandic composer Marc McNulty.

Three pieces of experimental electro-acoustic, organic and in a way very meditative nature, prepared with self-made software and various sound sources.

Starting with a kind of shorter introduction at Elenime, than turning into slowly developing its powers title track and back to the end with Soontaege which is again of quieter nature, the whole material is very involving and powerful.

It's interesting but too quiet. This album contains mixture of experimental electronica, ambient and industrial. However, interesting experimental sound passages are diveded with passages of pure silence. The first track is almost unlistenable and I don't recommend it to anyone. It's more like silence broken sometimes with a few notes than music. It's minimalistic to the point of absurdity. The tracks 2 & 3 are better and can be listened with interest if someone is into this kind of sonic experiments.
